Anyone remembering Splam!? The author is still working on his Commodore64 emulator for the Gameboy Advance. The author has notupdated his page for ages, but recently he posted those WIP news on his page:
Just a quick update to let everyone know I’m still working on Splam when I can and to say thanks for the emails of encouragement I’ve been getting (I’ll ignore the ones just insulting me).I’ve taken Splam apart recently and I’ve been putting it back together slowly and rewriting bits as I go. As soon as I’ve got it all back together I’ll test some games on it and if it looks ok I’ll release something. It probably won’t be as fast as I want it to be (ie 50fps) but shouldn’t be too far off.

Tyrell did another update of his Spectrum emulator for the GP32. Here are the changes:
– Version v0.2 is released!What’s new:- Added AY-3-8910 sound ! Sound is very clean in some games. Try”head over heels”128k version,”Rick Dangerous 2″,”Tetris2″… However, in other games (especially in the menus) AY sound is not that good, there’s some background noise. But all in all, I think it’s a welcomed feature, evenif it’s not 100% perfect.- Enhanced Beeper sound. Now, it’s a little bit clearer than before, and few or no background noise can be heard.- Enhanced the virtual keyboard and added the space key (the ‘*’ on the virtual keyboard). Now, press”B”button to select the key and the”A”button to quit without pressing a key.- Options screen: when pressing the”B”key, options are not saved but they are taken into account (was not the case before).

A new version of GP Doom has been released. This vesion has various bugfixes and most importantly working sound! Downloads can be found atGP32Emu.
NoBrain2K let me know on IRC about his new Pipe Mania game remake namedPipe Panic. He has released a test version which features just the one level at the moment and he wants some feedback on the game which you can do so via the GP32Emu Development Discussion forumhere. iMappy is a map viewer with which you can see maps with differents level of details. It can scroll on images of the districts of the city. Here’s what the author had to say about this version:
– Total rebuild of the program: use of GIF files (not interlaced).- Unlimited number of levels (the previous one was limited to 3 levels).- District selector.- User interface.

Skeezix let me know that he has released a new version of his Atari ST emulator for the GP32. Changes are:
CHG:Now going to release as two binaries.. a fast with okay sound one, and a pitifully slow one with good sound.
