Chris Cacciatore is heavily working on his NES game Nebs & Debs and hopes to have it ready in late spring 2017. The game itself is a platform game. For now you can run, jump and collect diamonds.
Progress:
* Game can now be paused (using upper bits of PPU_MASK to darken screen).
* Crystals glow using palette swapping.
* Scenes can now encode palettes (used to just be hardcoded).
* Progress towards transition screens before each level (where you see your life total and the level name).
* Bug fixes.
* Minor optimizations to reduce ROM size.

Bsides is a little NES game by HypnZA. Users got a “.bin” file and had to figure out it was a NES rom, run it, figure out the clue about a code being a Game Genie (and/or figure out what a Game Genie is and how to enter the code), before submitting their code to solve the challenge (each user got a unique “.bin” file with a unique code).
The Oliver Twins were profilic coders back in the day creating games for many platforms including the NES. Their most iconic games, of course, are those that included Dizzy as the main character. The Twins did now and again experiment with new franchises and Dreamworld Pogie for the NES was one of them.
