Bennu is a high level open source game development suite which focuses on modularity and portability, making it a perfect choice for cross-platform game development.
Although officialy it is only supported on Windows and Linux, Bennu can run on multiple other platforms, including *BSD, MacOSX and consoles such as GP2X, Wiz and Wii.
Bennu -which was born as a Fenix fork- is actively mantained and makes it easy for both beginners and experienced users to create their own games.

Madman is currently working on a shooter minigame which will feature 2 games modes. A regular one and an endless mode.
The normal mode will contain a certain amount of levels, the endless mode will feature an infinte amount of enemies coming at you randomly. How long can you survive?
For now everything is a work in progress and Madman is looking for feedback, so if you have a few spare minutes, play it and let him know what you think!

Many of you have already read about it, but actually not too much is known about the F-300, which is a slighty enhanced Wiz console.
Tony Han has sent us the appropriate specification sheet, which we quote as follow:

The main difference to the Wiz is mainly the different screen (LCD instead OLED). It’s slightly larger than a Wiz console and has a weaker battery.

Once the result is announced, the 3 contestants with the most votes will receive a nice Christmas present from GPH.
WarmFluffyUK has managed to get a sneak preview of FunGP, which is Gamepark Holdings’ equivalent appstore type place.
FunGP will hold free and commercial games. Everything is in heavy testing phase and things should be ready for the public close to the upcomming winter season.

Pickle has updated Roman’s “Open Great Giana Sisters” game ( http://openggs.romanhoegg.ch/ ) to the Wiz!
This version adds a proper “C64 mode”, as the author Roman gained permission for the official C64 graphics. It’s a lot more authentic now!

Wiz-Write is a text editor for Wiz.
