Entombed2x v1.0 (GP2x Game)

Here is some information about the game: You and your team of archeologists have fallen into the “catacombs of the zombies”. There is no time for research, though; the walls are closing in, and the zombies have sprung to life! Fortunately, you’ve discovered an ancient mystical potion which allows you to create and destroy walls. Bottles of this potion are strewn about the catacombs. Grab them, and you can break through walls when you get stuck, or create a wall behind you, if you’re being chased. The longer you survive, the faster you have to move.

Duke2X v0.04 (GP2x Game Port)

Woogal has updated his port of Duke Nukem 3D for the GP2x.

Changes:

Cutscene movies now work (used to cause black screen crashes before).
Because movies work, this means episode 4 (The Birth) is now playable.
Function of A and B buttons switched to match other software.
Pressing ‘back’ (was B, now A) on the main menu no longer locks the game out.
Music and sound device settings hard coded as there is only one possible sound device

One More Music Player Client 2x v0.1.1 (GP2x Application)

One More Music Player Client – A cross platform mpd client targeted for Gamepark holdings GP2X.

* Workaround to fix output rate changing while running in background
* Volume will still “jump” occasionally, created optional “watchdog” program to

Deadly Rooms of Death – Architect Edition v1.0 (GP2x Game)

DROD (Deadly Rooms of Death) is a Dungeon crawling / Puzzle game developed by Caravel Games.

Its principle is simple: you inspect dungeons, you fight monsters with your sword, in turn-by-turn combats. But the silly architecture of these dungeons makes these fights extremely challenging and versatile.

Changes:

New features:
– Undo (even when you are dead!)
– Mimic view: in zoom mode, switch between your mimics.

Bug fixes:
– Bug fixed in fullscreen interpolation (looks nicer now)
– Invisibility potion does not cause slowdown anymore.
– Character does not get stuck on new level anymore.
– Some other minor bug fixes…

Entombed2x (GP2x Game Port)

Entombed2X is techFreak’s second game port for GP2X. It’s developed by Bill Kendrick based on the Atari 2600 game “Entombed”.

This game supports 2 player mode. Please see README_GP2X.txt for more information about the games and controls.

MAME GP2x v4.1 (Multiple System emu for GP2x)

MAME is an emulator application designed to recreate the hardware of arcade game systems in software, with the intent of preserving gaming history and preventing vintage games from being lost or forgotten. The name is an acronym for Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator.

E.g. Road Blasters lacked wrapper correct IRQs handling and Indiana Jones needed to know previous PC to emulate the protection chip.
– All the games run perfectly now with the standard executable.

– 1943 has been fixed, it was broken in the previous release (v4.0).
– The ClrMAME DAT has been updated with the latest romsets. An additional DAT for the samples has been added.
