It has been written initially by Bradford Mott, see Stella site for details.
GP2X-2600 is a port on GP2X of ZX-81’s previous port to PSP. ZX-81’s PSP version is based on the work of Aenea who was the first to port Stella to PSP, and David Voswinkel who’s now in charge of the PSP port in Stella team.

GP2x Firmware 3.0.0 has been released. This firmware mainly consists of design change and minor changes.
Update 23:52: Few people seem to complain about the new layout and it’s functionality – if you want to be on the save side, stick with the latest stable 2.x.x Firmware.

LittleGPTracker (a.k.a ‘The piggy’) is a music tracker dedicated to run on portable game consoles. It is currently running on Game Park’s GP32, GP2x and there’s a windows version for wusses too.
Changes:
1. LSDj like tables for heavy modulation. Tables can be triggered either from a TABL command or linked to an instrument in the instrument view. LSDj style instrument automation is possible. Table view is accessed either from Phrase or Instrument view by pressing RT+DOWN
2. Cloning of instrument/table
3. Renderer application released. This is a windows only app that will dump all channels in separate audio files rather than send it to the audio out. The created files are *.raw and are 16bit raw soundfiles.
4. CRUSH command and extended bit reduction capabilities
5. Implemented backward sample playback if sample END is set before sample START
6. Allow to return to the song selection list by pressing LT+RT+SELECT (esc under windows)
7. Configurable color scheme

Here are some WIP news for mpc2x. There is no release yet:
mpc2x is a mpd client for the gp2x handheld console. A gp2x is a Linux based ARM powered multimedia platform, which because of it’s Linux OS is very well suited for writing your own applications. At the moment mpc2x is nowhere near any release state, and has only a functioning song display at the moment.
mpc2x is written with help of the SDL multimedia library which is as far as I know the best option on the gp2x because it would be rather an overkill to use and X server and some tk to create the interface.

This is a GP32 emulator for the GP2x. This version is still in pre-alpha stage, as in, it’s not actually usable (No joystick control), but it will give you an idea of how fast a GP32 can be emulated on the GP2X.
