PrBoom v2.2.6 Beta 1 (GP2x Game Port)

Image provided by: gp32x.comPrBoom is a cross-platform version of the classic 3D first person shooter Doom from id Software. Originally written for PC, PrBoom has been lightly modified to run on GP2X. Release notes:

With the help of theoddbot, DJWillis, Woogal, and Nickspoon, I’ve made a (quick) port of PrBoom for GP2X. As always, this first release is a beta. Everything sould work. I didn’t put any sync code in the game itself but the provided launch script call sync at game exit. I didn’t test any dehacked or additional WADs, but everything that works with (Pr)Boom/MBF and does not requires hight-res or OpenGL should work on the GP2X.

Doom PSP v0.05 (PSP Game Port)

SteroMike has updated his modification of Doom for the PSP, it now adds Dehacked support. Changes:

  • Added showing of datestamps of savefiles
  • Fixed problem with changing to chainsaw and showing map
  • Dehacked support (use square to select a file) Batman Doom has been tested and is working, a sample .deh file is included

    PSP Yabasic Player V1.0a (PSP Application)

    Release notes:

    Here’s a link to a port I have made of ps2yabasic to the PSP. It lets you play (but not edit) all your yabasic saves on the PSP.I’ve included eboots for both 1.5 and 1.0 BIOS versions – put the correct folder(s) in the PSP/GAME folder on the memory stick.Put the yabasic folder in the PSP folder on the memory stick.What’s working?Pretty much everything except below!What isn’t working?It runs about 80% of the speed of the PSP.The console output window doesn’t work.No text input is working.Slight memory leaks.The beep doesn’t work.Things to note:It slaps the PSP into 333MHz mode while the interpreter is running, and back into 222MHz mode at exit.Press both shoulder buttons together to exit the interpreter.

    Caprice is a CPC emulator, now ported to the GP2x. According to the author this is the first”useable”version. It runs at 200mhz.
