iR Shell has been updated! It’s a shell application for PSP.
Changes:
Now fully compatible with Team M33 3.52-3 & 3.52-4 CFWs.
Enhance the alarm clock function to support PSP suspend mode which means the alarm will still be triggered while your PSP is under suspend mode (sleep mode). The alarm volume will always be at max and is independent of your PSP volume settings. You will still hear the alarm even if you’ve muted your PSP volume. Thanks to Adrahil for providing the alarmlib source code to illustrate how the magic is done.
sakya has updated his MP3 player LightMP3 for PSP.
Changes:
-Added: HP and RM on first line if headphones and/or remote controller are plugged.
-Added: the program checks the display brightness at startup and asks if you want to lower it
-Added: support to 22khz (plays fine with CPU at 40mhz), 24khz (plays fine with CPU at 40mhz) and 48khz mp3.
Note that to play 48khz mp3s the cpu must be raised to 80/85 mhz
-Added: Fastforward (no rewind, sorry). Press right and left to raise and lower playing speed.
-Added: volume bar
-Fixed: if you delete .scrobbler.log with LightMP3 running (activating USB), the file is recreated.
-Fixed: if the sample rate isn’t supported an error message is shown
Maxsafe is an application to have a 100% secure PSP with Pandora.

Here is a simple, yet useful homebrew app for anyone who prefers running an older firmware version; whether it be 1.50, or an aged version of Dark_AleX’s OE. The concept is simple: flash the bundled index.dat & version.txt files from a later firmware version. Many newer PSP titles/demos require the most recent, so this should result in a successful launch. It also creates a backup and provides a method to restore your original files. Straight forward, and to the point.
