“In Gravity Force you control a little ship. Your mission is to collect all cargo and return it safely to your home base. This would be quite easy if there were no enemies and no gravity pulling you to the ground. Well, for the enemies you have a cannon (in fact more than 6 different weapon systems), and for the gravity you have your skill (maybe)”.

Imerion has released a GP2x-F200 game, but he himself, hasn’t one. If anyone wants to help beta testing, feel free to do so.
Release notes:
Hello everyone! I just finished a touch-screen based game for the F200. Problem is, I don’t have one myself so I am not certain if it works. Could someone help me test it and tell me how the touch-screen controls work?
I also need ideas for the game. It was mostly made as a test, but if people like it I might continue to work on it for a while. Here are the stuff I am still planning to implement :
* Non-touchscreen controls for all other GP2X units.
* Background music.
* Some better graphics. Especially the birds needs a redo.
And here are a few ideas of what could be implemented, if anyone wants it :
* Different levels with different backdrops and obstacles.
* Different types of birds, or perhaps something else to shoot at. (Targets, balloons, etc)
Any feedback is appreciated. More info can be found in the included ReadMe.

ScummVM is a program which allows you to run certain classic graphical point-and-click adventure games, provided you already have their data files. The clever part about this: ScummVM just replaces the executables shipped with the games, allowing you to play them on systems for which they were never designed!
Some of the adventures ScummVM supports include Adventure Soft’s Simon the Sorcerer 1 and 2; Revolution’s Beneath A Steel Sky, Broken Sword 1 and Broken Sword 2; Flight of the Amazon Queen; Wyrmkeep’s Inherit the Earth; Coktel Vision’s Gobliiins; Westwood Studios’ The Legend of Kyrandia and games based on LucasArts’ SCUMM (Script Creation Utility for Maniac Mansion) system such as Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, Sam and Max and more. You can find a thorough list with details on which games are supported and how well on the compatibility page. ScummVM is continually improving, so check back often.
Among the systems on which you can play those games are Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, Dreamcast, PocketPC, PalmOS, AmigaOS, BeOS, OS/2, PSP, PS2, SymbianOS/EPOC and many more…
Release notes:
Just a quick news post to point out that I have done another 0.11.0 preview release (this really is the last one I hope before the official 0.11.0 release).
You can find more information on my ScummVM news page.
Thanks to Manjuu and SBock for the help testing the fixes in the preview 3 build.
Any feedback on this release would be most appreciated as I am unable to test myself.
How to provide feedback?
In order to help me keep track of requests, bugs etc. I am asking that people kindly report such issues to the correct places (or at least copy them there). I don’t spend all my time looking at forums and bug reports placed on random internet forums are never very helpful to me (i.e. they are very unlikely to get fixed). The same applies to feature requests etc. etc.
If you would like me to consider a feature or fix a bug help me to help you by ensuring the reports end up recorded in the one official place.
Bug Reports (ScummVM’s Sourceforge bug tracker)
Feature Requests (ScummVM’s Sourceforge feature tracker)
Note: Feature Requests for 0.11.0 are closed but any requests will be looked at for the next release.
Source Code Patches (ScummVM’s Sourceforge patch tracker)
General Forum Feedback (Not Bug Reports) (ScummVM’s GP2X forum, I also check any official news posts I make to the GP32x forums such as this one)

Everyone who wants to know whats going on with the jump’n run game “Giana’s Return” might be interested in this information, which has just been posted on the Giana’s Return homepage.
Quote:
Dear Giana Sisters enthusiasts,
Working on a sequel of such a famous game as “The Great Giana Sisters†is not an easy task. We have heared many comments up to now and most of you might still remember the public Versions of Giana’s Return v0.91 for GP32, Dreamcast and Windows (32-Bit). Most people are happy to see the progress, some just feel ashamed that we are touching an alltime classic and trying to put it in a new shape. As the team itself is very addicted to those kind of games, let us assure you, that we do our best to keep the faith of the original.
The current progress is in a stage, where everything is fully playable but needs a lot of graphical adjusting and level retouching. Our betatester Mulle, a kind and helping hand from Germany, has already put a lot of time into the game, by testing details. The game wont be out tomorrow, neither in a month – but we will not abandon anything.
The storyline is complete and currently beeing added to the engine, same applies for the illustrated story. The tile adjusting will require some more time, so far 4 tilesets are adjusted, this makes 3 sets left.
The rough final should be ready by end of this quarter, we will use the second quarter of 2008 to iron out and fix details – of course this timeline is rough and only applies if nothing bad happens.
To raise your mood and get the time of waiting a bit reduced, here are the links to the three videos, posted on youtube.

World 2 in action: http://youtube.com/watch?v=tuxvTYtLXPo
World 3 in action: http://youtube.com/watch?v=UgM7uDJNDt0
A new video of the lava world should be up in the next two weeks. For everyone who was in the dark about the “release dateâ€, now you have more background information.
Greetings
Yours Giana’s Return Team

Achim is steadily improving his game Muepp Muepp for GP2x. Goal is to catch as many smilies with the touchpen, as possible. The game can be also controlled by the regular joypad, which makes this game work on both currently available GP2x’s, the GP2x-F100 and the GP2x-F200.

You are Punk-Man and need to escape from a prison without beeing catched.
4pac’s litte game is inspired by the Game & Watch game “Escape” originally released in 1981. To our knowledge it’s his first GP2x game, so give him a hand and leave feedback in the linked thread below, where you can also find the download.
