Exult PSP v2.1.7.0 (PSP misc)

ExultPSP is a port of Exult v2.1 ( http://exult.sourceforge.net ) which is a framework that allows you to play one of the greatest CRPGs of all time, Ultima VII. It requires you to have the original game(s), Black Gate/Forge of Virtue and/or Serpent Isle/Silver Seed, as it recreates Ultima VII by using the original graphics and data files. ExultPSP does not include these for legal reasons. Please do not ask for them.

Changes:

– Significant improvement on analog nub control.
– New scheme has 4 radial zones, floating point mouse coords + vector calc for a much smoother experience and a greater range of motion.
– Ingame controls also add a new toggle: Left Trigger + Right Trigger: will toggle an even slower mouse mode allowing those players with less than stellar analog nubs to be able to finely move and grab very small objects (individual coins, rings) with little or no problems, as well as manipulate tiny switches, etc. Hitting L+R again will go back to normal mouse mode. The toggle works while holding objects as well; grab a ring in the slower/finer mode, toggle while still holding SQUARE (left mouse), and zip it away!

Cave Story DS (NDS Game Port)

Cave Story, or Doukutsu Monogatari, is a Japanese freeware side-scrolling platformer game developed by StudioPixel and ported to Nintendo DS by RavenWorks.

Enjoy! Very sorry it took so long to get this far, but actually between this demo and the last one I completely rewrote the entire graphics engine from scratch; the whole damn thing runs on the 3D hardware now. (Except the far backgrounds, anyway.) But it should look the same; this way just lets me use way more of Pixel’s original DirectX code without needing to adapt anything for the DS’s 2D core.

Anyway, major things we’re still missing: HP, guns, SFX, and scripts! I was tempted to add guns, but rather than open that can of worms I just released it as-is, they’ll be in the next one ;P Event scripts are a biggie, of course. Everything else is pretty minor and just needs to be implemented…

Anyway, enjoy! 🙂 Lemme know if there are problems.. (If anyone can put their finger on why my .NDS icons work on some hardware but not others, please do..)

Treasures of Gaia v0.1 (NDS Application)

Treasures of Gaia allows you to browse on your DS an extremely detailed map of the entire world thanks to Google Maps (a Wifi connection is mandatory). The whole world is now in your DS! You can scroll the map with the pad or the stylus. Use the L/R buttons for zooming in and out. Up to twenty zoom levels are available, depending on the area (Note that this cartographic engine will be implemented in DS Weather Report very soon, so you can see the weather for any part of the world, and not only Europe).

The purpose of Treasures of Gaia is to let you appreciate the beauty of our world. You can freely travel where you want, but special places locations are provided: the list of the 851 places inscribed by the UNESCO on the World Heritage List for their outstanding universal value to humanity. These places are indicated on the map. To obtain information about a place, you only have to touch its location with the stylus. The information are displayed on the upper screen, where you can switch between a picture of the place, a description, or its location on a global map.

You can also browse the whole list sorted by countries by pressing the Y button. When you click on a place in the list, the same information are displayed on the upper screen, and you can directly go to this location by touching the “Go!” button.
