DSwiki is an offline viewer for Wiki markup, for example for the Wikipedia, Wikibooks, Wiktionaries, …
DSwiki is NOT a web browser!
Changes:
– The index can be searched, so every article can be accessed. Press X for an input form.
– The shoulder buttons navigate through the complete history of visited pages.
– A cache of 2MB size is saving all recently visited pages, what is quite faster than retrieving and unpacking it from disk every back and forth.
– There should be no big memory leaks anymore, browsing can be (nearly) endless.
– s are handled correctly.
– There is no separate Unifont-version to display more glyphs, but a stable release will have one included.

Learn polish with this application by Tigro.
Release notes:
As you should know, “Knowledge is key to a success” – I, as a native speaker of Polish language, am going to give you interesting knowledge – I’ll try to teach you Polish! Language, which was used for many hundred years, by great poets, kings, scientists and ordinary people.
Then, I decided to try to learn you this beautiful (but, not hide it, hard to learn) language. Think about these hot chicks around you, when you say “Cze??” instead of “Hi”! About these gangsta-wannabes trying to hide from you, when you say “Nie wkurzajcie mnie!” instead of “Don’t piss me off!”. About these full of fear Persians escaping from the battleground when you scream “Przygotujcie si? na chwa??!” to your soldiers instead of “Prepare for glory!”. Think about all these profits!
This homebrew, as it’s 0.1 version, will learn you basics of Polish – next will make you P0l15h-14ngu4g3-1337. Don’t waste your time – begin your journey with Polish!

Aerthel updated his Nintendo DS homebrew game “Project Sheratan”.
This Project aims to create a Card Battle engine for RPG games on Nintendo DS, mimicking the Baten Kaitos series’s card system.
Changes:
– Card are 3D Sprites now, allowing them to ‘flip’
– The contextual help bar can be maximized/minimized by just selecting it with the stylus
– Deck now shuffles cards at start and every time you discard a card (so this time you get different almost always)
– At Hand Initialization, the cards flip in order, like they did in the game.
– When a card is discarded, the new card added to the hand from the right side is animated.
– New card added to show Numberless cards. This type of card won’t be able to participate in a combo with the default set of card rules.
Also, I upgraded the project to use the recently new version of PAlib (v080823), I highly recommend it, it’s very easy and has a lot of nice features. I think I’ll test the new efs functions next =).

“The DStillery” is a new website about Nintendo DS homebrew games and applications.
Quote:
The DStillery is a place where Nintendo DS homebrew developers and users come together. It’s a place where developers can host their applications (version management included) upload screenshots (pictures say more then words) and respond to questions from their users. Users can bookmark, vote and leave comments on their favorite applications. So whether you are developer or end-user there is always something for you on The DStillery.

PolyTouch is a very simple polygon manipulation GUI. You get a polygon with up to 25 nodes and can drag the nodes with the stylus. You can also modify nodes with the D-Pad, reduce the number of nodes down to 3 as well as scroll between the nodes with shoulder buttons and the Taito Paddle.

Pong for Nintendo DS by René C. Kiesler.
Release notes:
Well… My first PAlib project is what I came here for. A Pong for Nintendo DS, supporting the Taito Paddle Controller (but also the D-Pad and shoulder buttons, no worries).
Version 0.1 is rather simple, has only one player support and an easy to beat CPU player.
What makes PONG extreme special, is the vague idea of “Synesthasia”. The game music changes according to your and to the CPUs game performance. Not really polished yet, but it’s my first project anyway. I’m open for suggestions and will likely do a follow-up version.
