Last Mobile Space Battalion (28-07-2008) (A2600 Game)

Phillip has updated his game “Last Mobile Space Battalion”. It’s a mix of Space Invaders and Yar’s Revenge.

Release notes:

Cool, the advice really worked. I was able to do a lot of the things that I wasn’t able to do before. I got a wider shots for the alien and scrolling satellites. Also got an end to the game (when player gets hit you hear a beep, then you see laser beams.) Also got rid of the compilation error. Thanks.

The link is the same. Just download again and try out the improved game. Let me know what you think.

Phillip

Pitch N Catch (23-07-2008) (A2600 Game)

How to play:

Choose a play and watch it unfold, as your teammates run along their routes…

Get ready to pass the ball to an open catcher, and lead him to the goal zone!

But watch out for the blocky-blocker, who can intercept the ball and stop your catchers before they score.

Vong (22-07-2008) (A2600 Game)

Vong stands for “Vertical Pong” and is a Pong game for Atari 2600.

Release notes:

Here is the last NTSC version that I am posting. I will not post the final version because I dont want people to make pirate carts. There are also several dummy routines and dummy variables, so hopefully there will be no reverse engineering.

There is no longer joystick support, I perfected my paddle reading routine and adapted it to the kernel, so now there is accurate paddle support (tested on real hardware, works fine). I am still going to fine tune the PAL AI, so I am not going to post a PAL version of this until I do so.

Terrance and Phillip (Build 37) (A2600 Game)

Do you remember the two farting guys “Terrance & Phillip” from South Park? Now those two guys have their very own computergame on the Atari 2600 platform.

Release notes from atari2600land:

Problems solved. New version. Have the right difficulty switch set to A to start from the beginning. Otherwise, you’ll start at level 4 (the swimming level.) How is the swimming? Is it OK, or should I ditch it and think up of something like the past 3 levels?

Terrance and Phillip (Build 36a) (A2600 Game)

Do you remember the two farting guys “Terrance & Phillip” from South Park? Now those two guys have their very own computergame on the Atari 2600 platform.

Release notes from atari2600land:

Been working on simplifying the code a little, and I ran into a problem: Pressing fire doesn’t make you go up on level 4. Any ideas why?
