ORB v0.9 (A2600 Game)

ORB is an Atari VCS game by winkdot. The planet Orb can be a dangerous place full of mystery. The Alliance has lost many ships while trying to explore the planet. Too many to count. It will be your mission to rescue downed pilots and return them to the mothership.

Release notes by winkdot:

A ton of code shuffling in this one. The game no longer exceeds scan lines unless you do a Select/Reset on it. I felt this is acceptable. Some graphic changes, some enemy logic changes, additional animation. The ground WILL now harm your ship so try and avoid it. As always, let me know if you see problems.

Super Mario 64 2600 v25 (A2600 Game)

atari2600land picks up a new topic for a new Atari VCS game. Just in case you’ve ever had a dream to play Super Mario 64, this might get reality now with Super Mario 64 2600. Certainly in a slight modified version to match the capabilities of the target platform. Kindly note that this game is heavily in development.

Changes:

Just a quick update. Version 25 has a little tune play once you grab the star. I also discovered that you can move after grabbing the star. You can still move, but the wall has been removed from the level 1 painting room in the castle once the game takes you back there.

Super Mario 64 2600 v24 (A2600 Game)

atari2600land picks up a new topic for a new Atari VCS game. Just in case you’ve ever had a dream to play Super Mario 64, this might get reality now with Super Mario 64 2600. Certainly in a slight modified version to match the capabilities of the target platform. Kindly note that this game is heavily in development.

Changes:

Well, I worked on this again while hearing the loud booms of fireworks. You must pick up the Bob-Omb, which is very much now active, and throw it to get the star. Not pressing fire and touching the Bob-Omb transports you to the beginning of the level. But you still can’t go into any of the doors except the first one.
