atari2600land has updated his single and two player simultaneous play variant of a very well known russian block game. The game was previously known as “Tetris”.
Release notes:
OK, I’ll keep it in. This update makes playing in 2-player mode go a lot faster, plus the transition from 2-player to 1-player (when a player gets a game over) is a lot smoother. I also fixed a bug pertaining to the 2-player mode

Juno First is intended to be an Atari 2600 port of the arcade game of the same name. Naturally the Atari 2600 version requires some significant simplifications, but the main elements are there. The visual style of the game is similar to Beamrider, but it plays quite differently.
The awesome sprite graphics were created by Nathan Strum, and the the excellent title music was created by Erik Ehrling (moderntimes99).
Release notes:
A small “feature” came to light recently with the cartridge release of Juno First. The high score table is not shown when the right difficulty switch is in the A position (continue mode disabled) – to view the high score you need to slide this difficulty switch to the B position. I have now fixed this problem, and the final version is attached below. This fixed version will now be used on all future Juno First carts that are produced. However, around 50 carts were produced with the previous version. If you have one of these carts then you now have an exclusive limited collectors edition!

atari2600land has updated his single and two player simultaneous play variant of a very well known russian block game. The game was previously known as “Tetris”.
Release notes:
Thanks for the suggestions. I fixed the code a little pertaining to movement. The block can now flip while moving left and right, but still can’t flip when moving left+down or right+down. I don’t know why this is. As for the locking too fast, I don’t know if I’m able to do something about this. The way the code is now, it moves down, and if there is playfield below it, it waits for the speed movement variable to pass the timer variable and then goes to the line detecting sequence. Hope this helps, and if not, tell me so I can fiddle around with the code some more.

Release notes:
OK, I got the music working good now. left difficulty A turns it on while left difficulty B turns it off. In two-player mode, music is automatically off since I need AUD1 for player 2’s sfx. Thanks, RevEng!

Duck Attack’s premise is simple: Collect radioactive duck eggs for points while avoiding giant, mutant and fire-breathing ducks.
Changes:
v0.09 is attached – the major change to this version is a new “Continue” feature. If you reach level 6 or higher before running out of lives, you can continue the next game at the same level (with score reset to zero) by pressing the fire button before the timer runs out.

Release notes:
I’ve tried to add music. You can switch it on and off with the left difficulty switch. There is a little problem, though. When a block hits bottom, the note changes from what it’s supposed to be to a random note. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Note:
Idea realized:
Title screen: the idea of spelling out 2600tris with the blocks is cool… but how about having them all fall into place from above? Maybe rotating on the way down?
