Laser Hockey DS v0.6.0 (NDS Game)

Moose At Play released an update to their Laser Hockey game.

Changes:

– Original streaming music and sound effects for the title screen
– Original streaming music and sound effects during game play
– Hooking into Box2D’s collision system to play sound effects during game play
– Randomizing which neon sound gets played on each contact
– [BUG] Cancel button on Host/Join screens never pops up
– Removed paddle-neon collision from Box2D using ContactFilter, doing it manually with bounding box to avoid bouncing paddles
– Moving your paddle into the goal area is no longer allowed by design, graphics to convey this will be added next month
– Randomizing which wall sound gets played on each contact

maketens v0.02 (NDS Game)

Mankind’s oldest enemy, the decimal numbers 1 to 5 have launched another audacious attack and it’s up to you to stop them. They have one weakness – they self destruct when they are combined to make the number ten. Select numbers with the stylus and make tens to save the world.

How to play:
– Numbers have to be on the same horizontal line and add up to 10.
– All hope is lost when the numbers break through the top of the screen.

Release notes:

This should now highlight the numbers as you select them with the stylus so it should be clearer to see what is happening.

DS81 v1.3 (ZX81 emu for NDS)

DS81 is a Sinclair ZX81 emulator for the Nintendo DS.

+ Added memory snapshots.

* Forty Niner still goes mental, so there’s still an emulation bug somewhere.

The Big Holstein by K2 is a demo released at “the Ultimate Meeting” 2008, which has been held in Karlsruhe/Durlach.

If features a bunch of nice 3D scenes, but nothing spectacular at all – still it’s enjoyable.

Fandian (r303) (NDS 3D Engine)

Fandian (previously known as Sonic) is the development name for ritz’s homebrew nintendo ds 3D game project. Some notable features include skeletal animation, static & dynamic point lights, shadow volumes, skyboxes, picking, gravity and object & environment collision detection. In the near future he will build the game logic, a.i., scripting and maybe an interactive 3D map builder for easy world creation and object & creature placement.

WarioWare Custom v1.6 (NDS Game)

Alright guys! HUUUUUUUUUGE UPDATE! So, I’ll start with the little stuff first and then move on to the really big, exciting stuff =D.

So, I’ve added in two new games and took out that “Touch The X’s” game, since it was pretty much the same thing as “Pop The Dots”. The two new games are “Kick The Football”, which uses the Stylus to make a slash on the touch screen to kick the football in that direction and “Build The Bridge”, which has you shift around pieces of a bridge to form a larger bridge to allow a car to pass over it.

In addition to these two new games, I have updated all of the other games for 3 levels of speed and 3 levels of difficulty modes. So, if you remember in the normal WarioWare games how there is varying speed and difficulty modes? Well, now they are in this one, for the 9 games that exist at least =P. Some of the difficulty modes are easier to spot than others, but every games has a shortened time limit and sped up music for the different speed changes.

Finally, the last and biggest update…*drum roll*…The first multi-player mode is up and running! This is a SINGLE DS multi-player mode, which is unique in itself. You only need one DS and up to 4 players can play. You simply pass the DS around when the appropriate player comes up, sorta of similar to how the Wii WarioWare multi-player games work. It’s got graphics, sound, the whole nine yards. Note, the graphics may not be up to cutting edge right now, everything that’s not the title screens and menus (which have been graciously done by James Garner and Kikaimaster), was made by me in Paint. =P

Bunjalloo v0.7.2 (NDS Application)

Bunjalloo is a web browser for the Nintendo DS. It under active development, and can already display simple pages, follow links and view images.

Changes:

– Update code for devkitARM r24
– Italian localisation courtesy of Paolo Ferraresi

Automatic DLDI patching of downloaded NDS files from within zips no longer works. I’ll remove the option in the next release. I can no longer test patching, as my card’s firmware auto patches anyway. If this is a feature you really need… er.. sorry!
