Xyds v0.1 (Xy-Mini emu for NDS)

zzo38computer released the first invented Xy-Mini emulator.

Release notes:

Xyds is a XY-MINI emulator running on Nintendo DS. You have to copy the .XYM file into the .NDS file at the position saying “THEXYMINIFILEYOUWANTTOEMULATEGOESHERE”, including overwriting this text.

Woopsi v0.35 (NDS misc)

Woopsi is a Nintendo DS GUI library for rapidly creating user interfaces for homebrew software. Modelled after the AmigaOS windowing system.

Release notes:

Version 0.35 is now out. Changes are listed below. The most significant changes this time around include the addition of a keyboard gadget for text input, cursor support in the TextBox gadget and re-written VBL integration to use a much simpler timer gadget for VBL-based code.

I’ve attached a screenshot of the keyboard. It has shift, caps lock and control modifier keys, and the full 7-bit ASCII set of symbols (ie. a fairly standard American keyboard layout).

There are two new example projects. One illustrates how to use the new timer, whilst the other shows how to use the keyboard.

– Renamed “Textbox” to “TextBox”.
– Corrected case of “PackedFontBase.h” include in “packedfontbase.cpp” (thanks Gattman, bug 2101099).
– Removed offcolour pixels from around @ symbol in sysfont bitmap.

– Renamed addText() to appendText() in TextBox, MultiLineTextBox and ScrollingTextBox classes.
– Text::wrap() correctly wraps text rows with no break points.
– Fixed const-correctness of some Font (and subclass) methods.

– Button has different appearance when disabled.
– CheckBox has different appearance when disabled.
– ContextMenuItem has different appearance when disabled.
– CycleButton has different appearance when disabled.
– RadioButton has different appearance when disabled.

– Added GraphicsPort::drawFilledXORRect().
– Added GraphicsPort::drawLine() and associated clipping functions.
– Added WoopsiString class and replaced string handling code in TextBox.
– Added Label gadget as a base class for TextBox and Button; can be used as a read-only, borderless text display gadget.
– Text inherits from WoopsiString class.
– Added MultiLineTextBox::removeText() methods.
– TextBox border bevelled both out and in.

Jazzier Suite v1.0 (NDS Application)

An application for musicians by Gaz.

Release notes:

Jazzier Suite, is a new project I am working on for the Nintendo DS. The program will aid musicians in improving their ability to recognise pitch, read music and to stabilise timing, as not to speed up or slow down whilst playing songs. There will also be a number of tools implemented to help aid in composition and performance. Some of these have already been implemented in the first release, such as, the delay calculator and tap tempo features on the metronome.

OsUp v2.5 (NDS Application)

This application by Mik allows you to update the OS of your flashcard through WiFi.

Changes:

– added customizable sound effects (you have to replace the default sounds in OsUp folder) (source of default Wii sound: www.adiumx.com)
– added auto update function to upgrade .:OsUp:. itself
– added new menu controlled by both touchcreen and pad

dDJs Silver (10-10-2008) (NDS Game)

dDJs by Braware is a DJ Table for Nintendo DS.

Release notes:

If you don’t know yet, dDJs is a Disc Jockey Table. In this new version, which is called dDJs Silver, there are too many new features. Now you can loop the beats by pressing the new green button, or even make them beat the way you want, using the pink button. Rate, PAN and Delay added. The disc now scratch really realist (there’s no sample faking it!). You can pause the MP3 now. Two new control bars added, using them you can make the Drum and Cymbal even more precise.

Options added. Choose Surround or Normal sound, or just change the themes. I must tell that there’s a problem with the themes, I couldn’t fix it yet, but as soon as I can I’ll do it.

What about the extras? One of them is a pair of Bongos, it sounds really good to play along with your MP3. And there is a Flute, its really fantastic, because you can play it just BLOWING while you hold a button, which are the notes.

Connect4DS v0.1 (NDS Game)

I’ve been playing with the devkitARM for some time now and I implemented my first DS game. It’s a computer version of the well known board game “Connect Four”. The game has 3D graphics (not that it’s very nice…) and three levels of difficulty. I tested it on my DSLite with Acekard 2 and on the No$Gba emu. Feel free to give it a try

Welcome to Back2School.

We find the kingdom champigngon, when our beloved companions went to school.
You should know that Tails, the Sonic faithful companion, was in a school in this kingdom because of a poorly organized school!
Taking his ailing patient and gnawing his brake in the middle of people who are not from his horizon, he decided to file the current mess!
Armed with its rings, he will try to jetter on his classmates when the teacher, Bowser, will be back!
But be careful not to make you! Indeed, when Bowser looks to you, you do not make more movement (and no better than a ring is being ballader full classroom at this time!).
You must therefore avoid run rings when bowser turns to you. It will begin by hand, then face. At this time, not throw anything until it is back again, or you take it in flagrante delicto with his peripheral vision!

Bunjalloo v0.7.1 (NDS Application)

Bunjalloo is a web browser for the Nintendo DS. It under active development, and can already display simple pages, follow links and view images.

Changes:

– Fix url parsing stuff so Google Images searches show
