Dicewars DS is a multiplayer version of a popular Flash based strategy game Dicewars for Nintendo DS handheld console. Your task is to conquer the whole game field by rolling dice. Each turn you may attack any opponent’s territory from one of your adjacent territories as long as your territory has more than one die on it. When attacking, If you roll more than the defender, you win. At the end of each turn, the greatest number of adjoining territories you have is calculated, and you are awarded a bonus of that number of dice, which are placed randomly on your territory.
This is a debug version and not consided as being stable, use at own risk.

Release notes:
I really hope I’m not going to dissapoint people here because this version is rather sparse. The main feature I’ve added is the options screen which contains a selection of fonts, backgrounds and the requested “lefty” mode, which turns all the chords on their heads. I hope its useful. You’ll also notice that any options selected will be saved when you turn your DS back on, (thats save support kyle), which should come in useful. I’ve also left in a very early vesion of the edit screen, in it you can edit the text in files, you can’t save them just yet, just edit them, so basically it’s pretty useless. At least I’ve done something eh? Till next time.

POWDER is a roguelike game. It is not a port of an existing roguelike. It is built around replayability and long term ergonomics, not short term learning. It uses actual graphic tiles (16×16) rather than the traditional characters.
Changes:
Added a signpost in the tutorial warning of kiwis along with a kiwi to be warned of.
Familiars always have 10 HP rather than being a the mercy of a die roll.
On level up NPCs will gain a half magic level if they are magic users.
Some monsters have an advancement track. When they reach a certain threshold level they will grow into a new monster type.
Water walking creatures are now aware that they are not safe from acid so will no longer wander to their doom. (hotpoo)
Reworked how god distribute spells. This allows some more variety in non-wizard gods. Quizar will now grant spells on occasion, for example. Likewise, Pax will grant Flamestrike and Tlosh Magic Missile. (hotpoo)
Famliars will learn spells as they level up.
Track added to familiar tome.
New spells: diagnose, summon demon.
Summon Imp made cheaper.
Boosted power of Baezel’bub.
Page up and Page down can be used to quickly navigate lists, as can [R] and [L] on the GBA.
You can now Split Stacks in the inventory screen. This peels off one item and places it separate from the stack. Useful if you want to drop one or all but one of something breakable.
When you finish getting help on a spell or skill you are returned to the skill selection menu rather than to the inventory menu.
‘?’ can be used to get help on skills in the read menu as well as ‘i’.
When you finish viewing a help item, you are returned to the help list rather than the main game.

BackupBuddy is a simple utility that finds all the new .sav files on your card and uploads them to an FTP server. The idea here is that you run this utility when you plug your DS in to charge at night. A few minutes later, you can rest assured that all your day’s hard play will be backed up.
