BackupBuddy is a simple utility that finds all files of the extensions you specift on your card and uploads them to an FTP server. The idea here is that you run this utility when you plug your DS in to charge at night. A few minutes later, you can rest assured that all your day’s hard play will be backed up.

This assumes you can connect to a wireless network and have access to an FTP server.

Changes:

1. Supports multiple file types, not just .sav
2. Supports ignore directories (Specify what directories not to scan for files)
3. Allows you to preserve the path, so a file at /Moonshell/bookmarks.sav can now be saved on your FTP server under “upload/Moonshell/bookmarks.sav” You can also turn this feature off and just have all your files saved under “upload”
4. Added applause sound when backup is complete.
5. Renamed configuration file to /data/settings/bb.conf
6. Timestamp is now stored in separate file, so your config file will not be rewritten

DS-GPS has been released in open source form, as the author decided to stop this project. The code is written in C++ and makes use of the PALib library. The complete project is available on request.

Please note that to be able to use DS-GPS you need:
– a DSerial card
– Serial GPS mouse/module

This program displays different shaped objects on your NDS. You can rearrange them as you like – basically that’s it.

Changes:

– if you hold an object and press down, you can rotate it
– new (not yet perfect) background
– new symbol

WorDS is a very simple Notepad application for Nintendo DS.

This is an unofficial port of the Amiga game “Cube-X” by Design Software Development and published in 1992 by Software Enterprises. All images and musics have been ripped from the original game using WinUAE, resized and arranged to work on DS hardware. All programming for DS made by me using PALIB and DevkitPro r20.

DScratch is the first module (or “protein”) made using Protein engine – it’s a little audio manipulation software running on DS which ables you to play with an existing .wav file or recorded audio sample; you can pitch it, scratch it, rewind, mute and apply effects on it. Moreover, DScratch sends MIDI through wifi connection, which ables you to control external applications, like VJing software.
