Video: Der perfekte GBA-Handheld? Anbernic RG34XX Test (misc)

The Anbernic RG34XX is a retro handheld that looks a lot like the classic Game Boy Advance, and this video puts it through its paces to see if it’s more than just a pretty face.

Tom’s test covers the 3.4-inch IPS display, build quality, emulation performance, controls, and software, showing which systems run smoothly and who might actually want one. It’s an entertaining and informative look at a device powered by an H700 processor with a 3:2 720×480 screen, aimed squarely at GBA fans.

The video is in German, but you can enable auto-translated subtitles in your preferred language.

Video: Ultravore Zero Gameplay Update July 2026 (WIP)

A new gameplay video for Ultravore Zero shows off a white energy meter under each fighter’s health bar, which powers special moves and slowly recharges over time.

This Atari Lynx fighting game was originally developed by Beyond Games in the 1990s and was considered lost until Songbird Productions acquired the full rights, including source code, around 1999 or 2000. The video is a work-in-progress update from July 2026, with a release hopefully coming that same year.

Down (PICO-8 256b Intro)

A single PICO-8 cartridge holding 256 bytes of code.

A descending tunnel effect.

Released on 4 July 2026 by Marquee Design, with code by superogue. The effect is clean and the movement feels natural for something so tightly optimized.
